Technical skills

  • Deployed and maintained data infrastructure via IaC (Terraform or AWS CDK)
  • Built and maintained production data pipelines (batch & incremental patterns)
  • Strong Python engineering skills (modular, maintainable code)
  • SQL proficiency (complex queries, optimization)
  • Cloud platform experience
  • Proficient with Git workflows (branching, PRs, collaboration)
  • Basic Docker knowledge (images, containers)
  • CI/CD implementation (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) (nice to have)
  • Advanced container orchestration (ECS, Fargate, Kubernetes) (nice to have)
  • Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow, Azure Data Factory, Step Functions) (nice to have)
  • Spark / distributed processing (Glue, EMR, Databricks) (nice to have)
  • Streaming platforms (Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub) (nice to have)
  • Event-driven architectures (CDC, message-driven patterns) (nice to have)
  • Dbt knowledge (data modeling, transformations) (nice to have)
  • Data quality and observability tools (nice to have)
